…to the Jungle ;o)

As you can tell this is mainly a music based blog, where you can find album, single and DVD reviews.

There’s also some graphical content and some quality other random stuff too.

About the Site

The whole ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ thing dates back about five years when I began designing forum skins for Sudden Launch. I eventually opened a website and forum entitled “Jungle Designs”, mainly because it was a design site =P The site lasted about a year or so, before I got tired of constantly skinning forums and spending way too much time doing that. The site and forum closed, despite winning Sudden Launch’s best forum design contest for 2003.

Until now, 2008 I’ve done very little in the way of web design. The occassional website or two if a friend has made a request for something. I’m self taught in HTML, and occassionally make ‘graphics’ in Photoshop – mainly things like sigs, which I’ll be posting on the site.

Where does the name for the site come from you ask? =o

You mean you don’t know?

Obviously it’s in part named after the classic song by Guns N Roses, and in part because of my online nickname of “Monkee”.

Hi there, I’m Andrew. And this is my website (as you may have already noticed). And yep, I love music.

Take a look around the site and you’ll learn more about me (whether that’s a good thing or not is another thing).

Oh and a side note, the Blogroll links all link to pages related to me (e.g. last.fm takes you to my last.fm page) or forums/sites that I’m on.
